Girl Talk

I'd intended to post this shot back in August.

I'm pretty sure it fell through the cracks.

So glad that you retrieved it, Wayne. These two sets of young girls almost look like mirror images in their hand, face, and body positions. Nice.

You've caught such lovely expressions - girls the world over chatter like this, whatever their nationality.

WV = motergoa - now that should have been on your blogpost last Friday.

A few years ago, my wife and I were in Montréal on Canada Day. A big group of people went by, the women wearing glittering saris. They were waving an equal number of Indian and Canadian flags. I don't think you'd see that here on the Fourth of July.

There is a very large south asian community in Canada and Vancouver. One community with a large Indian population is Surrey. Each year they celebrate the anniversary of India's independence from Britain.
