On Sunday the band sailed from Swartz Bay to Fulford Harbour on the Skeena Queen.
In true Carnival Band fashion the passengers were treated to an impromptu concert.

Nope, it's called a surdo (sur-doo). On a good day (or bad day, depending on your point of view) the band can have up to 5 or 6 of them.
It does look like a trash can, all decorated and fancy!!!
