On Wednesday B.C. artists and arts groups rallied at the VAG to protest drastic government cuts to arts funding.
The same government that has no problem paying, for example, millions upon millions of tax-payer dollars ($87.5M is the latest figure I can find) to fund cost over-runs on Olympic Security.

Great shots. The arts are always the first to go. IT's a disgrace. This all reminds me that I still want an Eiffel Tower brella. And the Degas one was a fine choice for the demonstration, but you knew that , didn't you!!
