At 4:00 p.m. yesterday, after a perfectly pleasant morning and afternoon, it started snowing. By 6:00 this is what it looked like on my street.
I'd been outside earlier and nothing short of a fire alarm (accompanied by the smell of smoke) could have got me outside again. I did, however, brave the cold to step out on the balcony and take a few pictures.
I'm sorry, but it is funny. Two days ago I suggested to my husband that we move to BC when we retire because the recent sunny posts from Vancouver and Victoria were just so alluring and I was telling him how warm it was there. Yesterday here in New England we had 65 degree weather and as I look out the window this morning, snowflakes the size of quarters are falling.
We endured that same scenario Sunday. Talking about out spring was on the way, everything was so bright and beautiful....and then, two inches of snow...
Ever the intrepid photographer. Glad you were able to manage to stick the camera out the door to give us a glimpse! Getting a little jaded about a beautiful snowfall, eh?
I spoke to my daughter today and she expressed the exact same sentiments about it having snowed... she wasn't feeling much like venturing out herself!!

I'm sorry you got more snow, but you must admit that those frosted trees are just absolutely gorgeous!

More snow?? It's time for it to stop. However, the picture sure is pretty.
Oh Wayne, what a beautiful shot. Thanks for braving the cold and snow for us. What a winter it's been in Vancouver, eh!

I hope that you didn't go out with bare feet...
