Snow Day

Although I wandered fairly far afield yesterday I decided to post a shot taken across from my place.

As a rule snow in Vancouver is gone quickly but it looks as if we'll have snow for the rest of this week

View out the front window.
An experiment in trying to get the exposure right.

Out here in the center of the US, I think of Vancouver as a temperate paradise, never too hot or cold. Obviously, there are major exceptions. It's quite a bit colder here at the moment but the ground is bare. Count your blessings.

Wow, it looks like you got quite a lot of snow this time. I always love snowy scenes. The shot from your window is gorgeous!!

The outside looks too cold for me. The inside looks warm and cozy.

Lovely shot, snow makes everything look more picturesque.

I think the snow has blanketed farther than usual. We're socked in and it usually melts quickly.

Wow, so much snow in Vancouver and such cold weather! Most unusual. A white Christmas perhaps?

Love the view from your window!

Wow, it looks like the Northwest has been hit all over. My daughter in Seattle is snowed in, sort of. I like the stillness and loneliness of your shot today.

Thanks for your comment on my "flag" blog today. I actually did take photos of undies in a lne, but failed to make the flag connection since they were all white. Go here:

Your snowfall is just beautiful. Love the stillness of the first and of course the warm cozy second shot. Wait, where are the kids and puppies????

Looks to me like you got the exposure right in that last photo. (And is that Virginia's red truck I spy on your computer?) Cool photos!

Thanks to everyone for stopping by. It snowed all last night (Tuesday). It may not be a record but it's a fairly big deal in a city that doesn't have many weather events.

D.C., Fortunately V. didn't notice her truck. You know what she's like, she'd be demanding a royalty cheque.

That IS my red truck and my attorney, Bob Crowe , will be contacting you about a rather large compensation. I don't recall signing a truck release.
