It occurred to me this afternoon that I have shoveled snow every time it fell since I was 14 or 15 years old, maybe younger.
Now that I live in a rental apartment and I don't manage any properties, I don't have to shovel the snow. Funnily enough I don't miss it.
Even though it was very cold in Ottawa, Winnipeg and Jasper, it didn't snow much while I was away. Go figure.

Shoveling snow is a little like Sisyphus only in this story when he gets his rock to the top of the mountain, it doesn't roll back down, it just melts away to nothing. Shovelling snow is like an offering to the god of impatience. I also have given it up but I am happy that other people continue to remove it from their sidewalks, even though of itself it will go away soon.
I really like this picture. Your snow looks so clean (not like our slushy grey stuff).
Gorgeous but you just keep it up there in the North Pole, I mean Canada. I can enjoy from afar. I went to a party tonight with NO coat and just a sweater and scarf and got hot! Well that might be other things but the point is .... no coat. Now the rain here is bugging big time, but hey, it's winter, oui???
Oh cute, my word is JINGLOC ! Is that when your bells get stuck???
That's such a cool shot. I'm still lovin the snow, being a recent import and all!
Congratulations on not shoveling. Snow is much nicer when it is just something pretty to see, rather than looking like a chore. We are expecting now here today and I will enjoy watching it come down and watching the city workers clearing it away.
