Boxing Day

In Canada and probably most Commonwealth countries it's another holiday. Whatever the original significance, Boxing Day is just another shopping day for the great many of us.

It used to be that Boxing Day was synonymous with 'sale' but for a while now, it seems to me, the sales start well before Christmas.

How I spent part of yesterday

Gosh, it's so amazing to see parts of Vancouver that I know so well dressed in winter's white finery. I've spent Christmas there a few times, but never seen it blanketed in snow. Thanks for sharing.

Now you have been kept out of trouble with that mega-crossword!

Oh no, working the mega crossword puzzle did NOT keep W out of trouble! As much as I hate to admit it, this is another fine snow photo. I can see your head getting bigger from down here. You won't be fit to live with!!! Is that a new banner photo???? Like those red umbrellas in the foreground. Nice touch.

Wayne, I'm intimidated by that crossword puzzle. In ink. Gulp.

Damn fine snow photo, my friend. I just love all these winter shots. I only know Vancouver in the summer.

Gorgeous photo, Wayne! I like the architecture of the club too. The deck looks perfect for having a coffee or two during warmer days.

That's a perfect shot, the snow looks crisp and undisturbed and fresh - gorgeous.

I'd have given up after a couple of clues I'm sure. The old brain isn't what it used to be.

Hi, I found you on Bob's blog. Your photos are nice. I especially like this one. It makes me want to curl up by a fire and read a good book.
