Old School

These are the two original buildings on the school grounds opposite my apartment. It only occurred to me recently, I'm a bit slow, that this view hasn't changed much, if at all, in almost 100 years.

So I kicked it 'old school',  and went with black and white.

Good call on the B&W - the building definitely looks it's age in monochrome. Thanks for stopping by GDP. Cheers!

I like the B&W too. I always imagine that 100 years ago people saw everything in B&W - life has only been colour since the 50s or so :)

So I want to know what kind of school, grades etc. Oh and yes, it's Dale Chihuly and yes, I have talked about Leonardo before. You don't miss a trick do you!
PS They make John Deere gummy snacks now for kids. Do i need to send you a box???

Yeah, the b/w gives a better sense of time and history. Well kept looking building for 100 years.

It looks more like a school in B&W, and in colour like a sports hall. So it's obviously meant to be in B&W!

I like the B&W too. And I also like the detail of the entrance of the bigger building!

About the jeepney: yes, they're made here in the Philippines except for the engines, which are either refurbished or brand-new Isuzu diesel engines. Needless to say, the ones that use refurbished engines are awful smoke-belchers. =(
