On a rainy Thanksgiving morning I decided to walk home after some errands rather than take thebus. Et voila!, there is a vintage (or vintage looking) motorcycle parked at the curb. Even though I've walked by any number of times I have never seen this motorcycle and sidecar parked here.
This is not a BMW. After a quick Google I learned that this is a Chang Jiang from China, a replica of a pre-war BMW.
I'm pretty sure the owner takes their dog in the sidecar, hence the bumper sticker and license plate.
It's not a tractor but I'm still pretty excited.

The handle bars looked like THEY had been knocked off. What can I say...boys and their toys.
Sorry, I'm having technical difficulties. I can't explain why Blogger insists on publishing the first paragraph in bold type. I'll review my settings and try to resolve the problem.
Oh, you've been spammed!
Cool pictures of this Chinese knock-off. I'm with Virg on this one: boys and their toys... ;-)
I'm more attracted to the tree:P
My brother-in-law has a Ural (http://www.ural.com/)which actually has some advertising involving riding with your dog. Check out the cartoon ads for the "tourist" model.
Wow, I can imagine your pulse quickening a little at this sight--it looks authentic.
:-) "not a tractor"!!
I tried to get a picture of a bike similar to that in motion a couple of weeks ago - with a dog in the sidecar. What I got was a picture of my side-view mirror somehow.
