Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall is the most prominent building in the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, to put it mildly.

Now that's a nice one Wayne and the banner to match. Cute!!! Have you been doing that all week and I didn't make the leap? Sorry.

I love the detail at the top. Just a beautiful old building. Where are the fall nuts? Hmmmm?

I didn't know you guys drank a lot of coffee as well. It means Vancouver is a safe place to visit.

Love the clock tower.

Somehow Canada benefits from its old world connections more than we do. A building like this here would be surrounded by towers of bauhaus.

is it prominent because of its height, its decor or both?

Not sure, but it looks like the roof has real tiles on it, and the brick is roman brick, my favorite. :-)

Kitty, the tower is tall but the building is one of a kind. It's a real eye grabber. If I can figure out how to do it I may put up a shot of the whole thing one day.

I'd call that a mansard style roof. Whatever it really is, there aren't many around here.

Laurie, Virginia. I've been snapping banners around town. Every community's are different. This was a particularly fortunate match.

Not many towers in the immediate area Elaine.

I don't know about safe Meg but we have coffee shops on every corner.

Thanks you guys
