Nissan Figaro
Used cars and trucks imported from Japan are a common sight on Vancouver streets. There are several different makes and models but most have small engines, under 1000 c.c. All are right hand drive and, under Canadian law, they must be at least 15 years old.
I'm not so much of a car guy anymore. But if I bought one of these imports it would probably be a van or truck like the S-Cargo (below) and it would be because they get something like 40 miles to the gallon.
Japanoid Motors is probably the major dealer for these cars in the Vancouver area. The Nissan Figaro, above, seems to be a collector's item. I have to admit they're pretty cute.
Do you see these in your city?

What a cute little car! Those tiny imports remind me of toy cars.
I wish we saw those things - but nope. I live in the land of Chevy Subdivisions and Hummers.
I saw an Scargo in Nanaimo not long ago. Cool car. Thanks for the link to Japanoid.
Oh I love the little green one. Your friends etching is fabulous, where did they get it? Could very well be the same street.
I haven't seen either of those over here - I think the top one is cute though! My husband would probably just shake his head and not say anything, but I'd love either a VW Beetle or a Citroen 2CV! (or a Trabant, but don't tell anyone!).
i like cars much more than suv s and this one is really cute, and no, haven't seen one here
Cool cars! I wish we had more of these and fewer Hummers and SUVs.
Cute car. I'm a sports car person, well I would be if I could drive.
Great photos of unique vehicles. Oh, by the way, I only walked up three flights. You're right, I ought to make it a habit. Right now, though, I'm enjoying sidewalks more that stairs!
