Nectar

Taken a couple of weeks ago. This isn't one of those 'touch and go' pollen collecting missions. These bees appeared to be gorging on nectar.

Scarecrows

There weren't any birds about so I guess they work.

Planning Ahead

I've got my pumpkin picked out.

On closer inspection I'm not 100% sure it is a pumpkin.

Arbutus Community Gardens

Some of the more impressive community garden plots I've seen are along the Arbutus rail corridor.

I'm horticulturally challenged. Usually I recognize a garden when I see one. But the things, plants and whatnot, in the garden....... not so much.
