Opus has a few locations around town. But I have to say that putting this store directly beside the Emily Carr School of Art and Design must rank up there as one of the great merchandising strategies of recent history.
When I'm in the market for frames or anything that an art store would carry I mostly go to Opus.
This is a typical Granville Island building. Formerly industrial, it has been converted to retail. Many of the buildings on the island are clad in this corrugated steel. The unassuming entrance is deceiving, this is a very large and well stocked store.
